Where I find my Weight Watcher inspiration

When I started my Weight Watcher journey I went online to get some inspiration on what to cook.
As I am very visual I turned to Pinterest. From there I came accross a lot of ladies blogging about their journey with weight loss.
Here are my favorites ladies:
  • brookenotonadiet.comΒ : Brooke is an extraodinay woman who has accomplish such a weight loss and therefore very inspiring. She lets me see that when you want something you can accomplish the greatest things.
  • floordeboor.wordpress.comΒ : Floor is from Holland (like me) and she has also a very strong mindset. She is a star in mealprep (her blog is in English)
  • fattywantsabiscuit.wordpress.comΒ : Laura is a young British woman who shows that weight loss is possible at any age.
  • livandcook.frΒ : Olivia is a young French girl who has succeed thanks to Weight Watchers to find some balance in her eating. Her successes gave her the courage to start a blog with healthy recipes. (It’s in French)
Because I’m such a visual person I follow them on Instagram also. They seems also to be able to make super nice pictures!
If you are also looking for inspiration and motivation go and check these blogs, it makes the journey way easier and fun to accomplish.
And of course you can also check my blog and Instagram πŸ˜‰

Failure is not final?

failure is not final

I found this quote on line as i was looking for a nice picture/quote about Failure. I feel like I’m in this place, Failure. I’m tired, quite undecided about what I want and what I can and my weight watchers fight is losing… I’m kind of down. I want to give up on my goal to be healthy, slim and active. Let me just be fat and on the couch 😦
On the other hand I’m not quite ready to totally give up. I think sometimes life happens, you get tired and you lose track and motivation. Maybe I should just be more kind to myself, more comprehensive and give myself some time to get some energy and get my motivation back.
While looking over the net for quote on failure I just came very positive quote accross. This one “Failure is not Final” resonates in me. It seems to be that Failure has nothing to do with something negative because from failure you can learn and get wiser to succeed.
So yes Failure is not final, today I will accept that life is not that fun and easy but tomorrow I will go to my Weight Watchers meeting πŸ˜‰
Can you relate to this feeling? I’d like to know πŸ™‚

The first kilo is off!!

The first 1,5 kg to be precise! As I have mentioned in an earlier post I want to continue my Weight Watchers journey in 2015 and it’s promising! I’m quite happy that it’s that easy to get back on track after the holiday πŸ™‚

Since I’ve entered the WW way of life I have looked over Pinterest , Instagram and the web for ideas for recipes. If you follow me on Instagram you may have seen that I follow a French girl Olivia which post a lot of great pictures of her meals. She had a blog on Blopgspot but she also started a new blog/website on wordpress.

If you are French of able to read French I can recomend you fo start follwoing her! She has great recipes and she has a nice way to write full of humour. You can find her here.

A new week has already started over here and tonight I’m going to run for the 2sd time this week! I made a promise to myself to treat myself a nice running gear if I’m able to train 4 weeks on a row!!

Thanks for passing by to my blog!

Hello December!

Hello December!

OMG, it’s already December 1st! It means for me that I can work less, be more at home with my boy & H and get back on my Weight Watchers path. (Have already saw my weekly menu’s? No, because I haven’t posted any which I intended to) This month will be different: it’s December! With Sinterklaas on Friday (typical Dutch tradition), Christmas and New Year’s eve.

Enjoy the last month of this year!

Recipe: Baked oatmeal muffin

Baked Oatmeal muffin

6 propoints- breakfast

The original recipe is about banana baked oatmeal for 4 serving. I have tried that recipe and I liked it so much I wanted to try it in muffin tin. This way I could make 6 servings instead of 4.
2 cups of oats
1 tbs baking powder
2 cups rolled oats
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp kosher salt
1 egg, beat
1 mashed banana
1.5 cups skim milk
1 tsp vanilla
